Witham Town and the SeedGrowers went head-to-head for the fifth and final time this season, in Coggeshall’s last game of 2018. Graeme Smith’s side took an early lead thanks to Sam Bantick, before Witham equalised in the thirty second minute from the penalty spot. In a game where the SeedGrowers missed a host of chances, they will be disappointed to be leaving Witham with only the one point – however Bantick’s goal was the first the home had conceded in three games as they stretched their unbeaten run to five games.
