The SeedGrowers started 2019 in the worst possible fashion, by suffering their second home defeat of the 2018/19 season at the hands of Heybridge Swifts. Coggeshall were undone by a spectacular striker from Elliott Ronto in the seventy-sixth minute and were then unable to find an equaliser.
