Coggeshall Town have completed some significant pitch improvements to the West Street playing surface to try and help solve a long standing drainage problem. The work has involved having over 100 bore holes drilled in the pitch at the corner nearest the changing rooms to improve the drainage in that area of the pitch. Following on from that the pitch has been seed drilled and top dressed with over 100 tonnes of sand as we always do at the end of the season. These improvements will only help what was already an excellent surface be ready for the resumption of competitive games at West Street whenever that might be.
