The SeedGrowers travel to Felixstowe for the first time since last season, when a crowd of over 1500 witnessed a spectacular match which saw Coggeshall crowned champions of the Eastern Counties League Premier Division, after winning by four goals to two. Felixstowe also achieved promotion last season, after an impressive year and have had a solid start to life in the Isthmian League.

Felixstowe have collected twenty-two league points from sixteen games so far this season, in which has seen a slight managerial change for the Seasiders. After joint manager, Kevin O’Donnell departed, Ian Watson has taken on the role as First Team manager, whilst appointing Danny Bloomfield as his Assistant Manager. The Seasiders are currently on a run of seven games without a win, however they have drawn three out of their last seven games. Their last win was on Saturday 17th November, when they travelled to Basildon United and won one-nil at the Ho Ho Stadium. Felixstowe are without a home league win since Saturday 22nd September when they beat Romford.

The SeedGrowers will be looking for a return to wining ways, having not won in two league games, following a draw against Witham Town and a defeat to play-off rivals, Heybridge Swifts. Coggeshall currently sit forth in the league table, comfortably in the play-off positions with only eight points separating the top five teams in the division. Town do have an impressive away record in the Bostik North, in fact it is the third best in the league behind Bowers & Pitsea and Maldon & Tiptree. To date, Coggeshall have collected twenty one points from ten games on the road this season; winning six, drawing three and the single loss which was back in August, away from home against Dereham.
