Coggeshall Town travel to league leaders, Aveley looking to cause a shock defeat. Aveley who have won their last seven league games include a number of first team players who have previously won promotion from the Isthmian North, along with manager James Webster who was crowned league champions whilst in charge of Brightlingsea a couple of years ago.

Aveley haven’t lost a league match since Wednesday 26 September, when they lost away from home against Romford. The SeedGrowers will be in for a tough afternoon against an Aveley side who have a one hundred percent home record in the league, having won all of their six home games. The away defence will have to keep their eyes on a forward line which consists of Alex Akrofi and Tom Richardson who have all played at a high level than their current division.

Coggeshall are currently three points behind Aveley in the league, having played a game more than Saturday’s opponents. Graeme Smith’s side have returned to winning ways recently, having bounced back from the defeat against Maldon with wins over Basildon United and Hullbridge Sports, respectively. Correy Davidson will be looking to continue his impressive run of form, having recently scored three goals in as many games having recently arrived at West Street for his second spell after leaving Bowers & Pitsea.
