Lucky 7 For Coggeshall

The Town continued their recent run of good form and stretched their run of consecutive wins to seven games, away from home, against second placed Maldon & Tiptree. The SeedGrowers led at the break, thanks to two more direct free kicks from in-form midfielder, Conor Hubble. The home side pulled a goal back immediately after the interval, after Sambridge saved a Jack Cawley penalty but Cawley was on hand to smash home his rebound leaving Sambridge no chance.

Graeme Smith’s men sealed the game in the last ten minutes and were rewarded for a fine performance after goals from Ross Wall and Nnamdi Nwachuku ensured the SeedGrowers departed Park Drive with all three points.
