Rocky’s Seedlings – CTFC Youth Results 29.10.17
We are still inviting boys to join our under 7s, so if you are interested in joining our team please contact our youth development manager on 07496 810606 there is also one vacancy in our U8s squad for a talented player that wants to improve.
CTFC U7s Well done boys three goals this week, Rocky is really pleased with all of you, however he was noticed that you sometimes lose your concentration, so make a special effort this week for you manager Karl, good boys.
CTFC U8s Were back in action this week and despite not winning they played some nice football. This week goalscorers were Jake and James, and I happen to know that James is even better in goal than he is on pitch Wow!
CTFC U9s
A rare blip today, result wise under some unusual circumstances! However the boys again played very well and can be proud of their performance, Rocky was especially pleased that Reuben scored he has been working so hard in training and doing extra work in his own time, other scorers were George and Rory with two.
CTFC U10s
Yet another win for the mighty tens, scorers this week Logan 3 Jake 1 Frank 1 and one own goal. Rocky is so pleased to see you all enjoying your football and putting into practice all the things Steve and Tom teach you in training.
Our Development Squads
Stanway Villa 0 – 3 CTFC U12s
I am so pleased with this group, the parents, the boys and the manager, everyone pulling together and the results are fantastic, another fine win this week and three different goalscorers Bat, Keiron and Ashley keep it going boys.
U13s CTFC 8 – 1 Stanway Rovers
Scored 30 and conceded just 7 so far, bearing in mind this is their first season playing 11 a’side it is safe to assume they have adapted rather well. This result keeps the boys top of the league, scorers were Freddie 2 Mish 2 Declan 1 Luke 1 Hadley 1 and an own goal.
This week the boys have been rewarded with a match on the main pitch, so if you are around at 10am come and support the boys in their 3rd round County Cup clash with with Shield Academy.
U14s CTFC 3 – 2 Frinton and Walton
Back on track this week with a hard-fought victory, goals coming from Brandon Josh and Harry, a special mention this week to Archie who joined us during pre-season Archie is so dedicated to improvement and it is really starting to pay off, he gave an almost faultless display of passing during this match and the result ensured the U14s are top of their league.
U15s CTFC 4 – 0 HALSTEAD
I watched this game and the boys played some nice attractive football, they held their shape and create loads of chances, scorers were Euan 2, Marcus 1 and despite all of his injuries Jed got one as well. Special mention for two of the defenders Jack and Ollie who both gave very mature performances. Play like that every week and you will win more often than not.
U16s CTFC 10 – 0 Bures 0
With the luxury of two subs this week we set about maintaining our 100% league record, the result was never in doubt but we are still not converting enough of the chances created. Captain Billy again led by example and the football was at times impressive, Ben had an especially good game as did Ethan whose versatility is invaluable to the team. Goalscorers were Harry his fourth hatrick in a row, Ethan 3 Will J 2 Sam C with a cracker, and Will W. This week it’s A-League opposition in the County Cup, same again please boys.
Great Bentley 1 – 2 U18s CTFC
A rough and ragged encounter but games like this need to be won and won it was. Goals coming from Elliott and John ensuring we remain unbeaten.
