CTFC U16s 2-2 aet lost 5-3 on penalties scorers Rolfe and Jordan Just a bare 11 to start the game found ourselves 2-0 down after half an hour kept things as they were till half time as despite the scoreline the game was very even. Just after half time disaster struck when Sam Abbott went down after a hefty challenge, and was taken to hospital were he was diagnosed as having broken his collarbone. Tactical adjustments were made and we quickly got it back to 2-1 as the game progressed we were looking most likely without creating, any clear chances, with 7 minutes to go made another tactical change and we equalised, had another couple of free kicks and pressed for the winner full time 2-2 In the second period of extra time last roll of the dice one more tactical change to try and nick it  but it was not to be, sadly the lottery of penalties went against the 10 men. However the performance was everything we have come to expect from this exceptional group of young men, their parents should be very proud of them they are developing into a very capable squad of players.
