Our Development Squads

Colchester Athletic 2 – 4 CTFC U12’s

After a weather-enforced break the u12s were back on track with a splendid victory at Birch Park goals arriving from Ashley 2 Batuhan and Harry. They have consolidated their 4th place in the league.

CTFC U13’s 4 – 2 Cornard Dynamoes Blue

This result saw our boys safely through to the next round of the League Cup, on the scoresheet this week were Freddie 2, Declan and Luke.

CTFC U14’s 4 – 2 Feering Falcons

The third 4-2 result of the weekend sees our lads continue to battle for the top spot just three points behind Frinton and Walton but with 2 games in hand.

Wivenhoe Tempest Yellows – 0 CTFC U15’s

After a good run of results defeat came to the top side, need to respond next week boys.

Halstead Town 2 – 1 CTFC U16’s

The dream season is over, the boys again started slowly and we were relieved to go in at 1-1 at half time. With ten minutes to go we won a penalty and on such decisions results are made, this was to prove a pivotal moment hero of the last two weeks Will took the pen but a la Beckham slipped as he connected and the ball went tamely to the keeper, to compound things the opposition broke away and some poor defending allowed a cross to go in from the goal line for a tap in 6 yards out. Despite throwing players forward we just couldn’t find the equaliser. Lets hope the taste of defeat is a bitter one and the boys respond in the right way next Sunday.

18s match postponed
