The seedlings remain in winter recess, games recommence next month.

Our Development Squads
CTFC U12’s and U14’s games were abandoned due to waterlogged pitches.

Tiptree Jobserve 2 – 3 CTFC U13’s
Started the year well, gaining revenge for the home defeat just before Christmas, to put them right back in the title race. This game was always going to be competitive and we were 2-1 ahead at half time with goals from Harry and Freddie, Tiptree equalised and the game stayed tied until in the last minute we were awarded a penalty, Declan coolly slotted it down the middle, we must build momentum now, this is where the season is defined.

Layer Colts 0 – 3 CTFC U15’s
The U15s go from strength to strength, the desire to get results and the team spirit is very strong. 0-1 at half time with a goal from Jed and it was fair to say we had rode our luck a bit, some fine goalkeeping, some last ditched tackles and a bit of woodwork kept our noses in front. It appeared that the longer it went the more desperate they would become and so it proved and the killer goals came in the second half from Jake and new boy Olly. Well done lads the progress is awesome.

U16’s CTFC 10 – 0 Clacton Town
A new year but same result as the reverse fixture, the fascinating thing about this was that there were nine different scorers, it would have been ten but our keeper missed a pen. However it was goal number 7 that took our total number of league goals scored to 100. With only five conceded.
