Next year we look to step up again.

Rocky’s Seedlings
We are still inviting boys to join our under 7s, so if you are interested in joining our team please contact our youth development manager on 07496 810606 there is also one vacancy in our U8s squad for a talented player that wants to improve.

CTFC U7’s Do you know some under 7s more boys required to insure we can cope with holidays and illnesses.

CTFC U8’s It was tournament time this week for the U8s and they put in some good performances getting through to the semi-finals well done all.

CTFC U9’s No game this week

CTFC U10’s The u10s hit the back of the net again after two blank weeks, goals coming from Lincoln , Jake and new boy Charlie on debut, welcome Charlie and well done. It should also be noted that it was a fine squad performance, with some good passing moves.

Our Development Squads

Great Bradfords 1 – 0 CTFC U12’s
Once again a very competitive game in this league, and very little between the two teams, however the home team edged it on the day, heads up boys we go again, even more determined next week.

CTFC U13’s 3 – 1 Little Oakley
After a disappointing run of results the 13s got back on track with victory over Oakley, despite again going a goal behind. The goals coming from Freddy, Luke and Kelly, we always say you learn more in defeat, let’s hope so.

CTFC U14’s 12 – 1 Halstead Blues
After a run of excellent results the 14s hit a banana skin, Marcus puts the result and the performance down to attitude. This result is something we can learn from, so now is the opportunity to put it right next week. Arrive with game heads on and get back to winning ways. Scorers were Josh 2 and an OG

Cornard 1 – 3 CTFC U15’s
Yet again the U15s excelled themselves, the transformation of this side is very very pleasing, ability is now being matched by belief and determination. At the start of the season they took a 7-0 thrashing from their opponents who until today had won all 7 of their matches and were unbeaten, not anymore, goals came from Jed, Harry and Max, keep it up lads, very well done.

CTFC U16’s 12-1
Back to the goal fest, however the performance and individual performances were not as good as the week before, this is not a criticism for criticism’s sake, however it is important for the players to understand that consistency and attitude irrespective of opponents is vital. However 11 wins from 11 games is MAGNIFICENT. Goals from Harry 6, Will W 3, Ben 1 Jayden 1 and Sam A 1 after his return from his shoulder injury.

CTFC U18’s 6 – 3 Rowhedge
Much like the 16s the result was better than the performance, this game should have been over at half-time, but individual errors and ill-discipline, together with not following the coaches game plan, meant that we ended up in battle we should never have been in. As we progress through the age groups the discipline required from individuals to fulfil a role within the team, becomes more and more important, those individuals who think they can play their game and not follow a team ethic will find Cliff and Graeme far less sympathetic, the 18s is finishing school good habits are good habits play every opponent the same way, then you will find that the footballing enjoyment will be greater and you will have a far better opportunity of reaching your full potential.
Goals this week Elliott 3, Didi , Tom B 1 and an OG.
