Youth Results Roundup (Week 11)

CTFC Youth Results 12.11.17

News From The Youth Section

A super turnout this week at goalkeeper training with six goalies attending training we are so lucky to have Jordan’s assistance and the amount of clean sheets  indicates it is paying off.

Rocky’s Seedlings

We are still inviting boys to join our under 7s, so if you are interesting in joining our team please contact our youth development manager on 07496 810606 there is also one vacancy in our U8s squad for a talented player that wants to improve.

CTFC U7s  It was tournament time for the under 7s and they proudly wore their brand new kit, Rocky thought they looked really cool, and played well too.

CTFC U8s Despite a disappointing outcome today, there were still some positives to take out of the day, Jake Barrow added another two goals too his tally.

CTFC U9s No game this week

CTFC U10s After the recent goals fest, Rocky was most surprised that this game ended goalless, however there were lots of near misses and im sure the boys will have their shooting boots back on this weekend.

Our Development Squads

CTFCU12s  2 – 3 Tempest
What a shame the five-match winning run came to an end with a narrow defeat, however the boys battled well, without perhaps being at there very best, huge plus however was two more goals from Tony well done, let’s get back to winning ways this week.

CTFC U13s 1 – 3 Tiptree Jobserve
Good to see everyone available this week, even Mish turned up to support, despite being unable to play (Well done Mish and Parents). The game however was a bit disappointing with perhaps too many players not winning their individual battles. However it is to be remembered you learn a lot more in defeat than in victory, so listen to Jack and let’s have a good reaction to the disappointment this week in the County Cup 4th round good luck boys.

HALSTEAD REDS 1 – 5 CTFC U14s

The under 14s march on, yet another fine victory and a man of the match performance this week from Josh, who scored two goals at important times in the game other scorers were Harry 2  and Sam L 1 so they remain top of the league and have a gam

CTFC U15s  No Game this week

Tempest 0 – 5 CTFC U16s
With the u15s not playing, Harry was given the opportunity to show what he can do in this age group, this technically gifted boy took a little while to settle into his role but got stronger and more confident as the match went on, he can be very pleased with his performance, as can the rest of the team, who put up another excellent performance against a hard fighting Tempest side, scorers this week were OG 1 Casper 1 and guess who! Harry got another hatrick.

CTFC U18s  No game
