Youth Results Roundup (Week 10)

CTFC Youth Results 12.11.17

News From The Youth Section
What a weekend! The club came together for the opening of the new clubhouse and Rocky was so pleased to see so many of you there. The fireworks were great, the first team won 8-0, the chairman was smiling and even Suzy seemed quite pleased at all the people in her new bar. And if that wasn’t enough we had yet another excellent set of results from our fantastic youth teams.

Rocky’s Seedlings
We are still inviting boys to join our under 7s, so if you are interesting in joining our team please contact our youth development manager on 07496 810606 there is also one vacancy in our U8s squad for a talented player that wants to improve.

CTFC U7s Unfortunately there was no game this week for the under 7s however this coming weekend there is a Tournament for you to enjoy at Cornard, Karl will give you the details at training Saturday morning.

CTFC U8s Jake scored the only goal this week, I’m sure you will soon be winning again soon!
U9s I am delighted with this group of boys, they are developing very well they appreciate the necessity of playing as a team, and play some very good football, under the guidance of Chris and Duncan. Another good win, goals from George 2 Jude, Logan and Rory one each.

CTFC U10s
This team are sensational eight more goals this week and still unbeaten this victory qualifies them for the end of season finals as they have already won their group. Two goals from Frank and Logan one each from Christian Jake and Lincoln and an og made up the tally this week.

Our Development Squads

Holland 0 – 1 CTFC U12S
What a fantastic result this was their fifth victory in a row everyone of these boys should be proud of themselves, not only were Holland unbeaten but manager Ben was not able to be there on the day, so we organised ourselves as we do at this club and with the expert help of very knowledgeable dads Stuart and Danny the boys were prepared and went out and done their thing, grinding out a great victory, the all important goal came from Tony, some of their passing was excellence in very windy conditions, this team are clearly going places and are sure to be picking up plenty of silverware in due course.

Cornard 2 – 1 CTFC U13s
After the recent highs the u13s lost their unbeaten league record and what was more disappointing was that several boys were not available, this squad are very talented, but a squad is a squad and we must all be committed to the cause if we are to achieve the ultimate result at the end of the season. Let’s, get back on track this week in training as there is another important game against Tiptree this coming week.

CTFC U14s  4 – 1 Frinton and Walton Blues
Another top of the table clash and once again we came out on top a fine display from all of the lads, with Sam B having a particularly good game at Left Back. Goals this week from Charlie S 3 and Brandon 1. Getting to the top is hard staying there can be harder. Keep doing what you have been doing, work hard for each other, encourage each other, trust each other. WELL DONE BOYS!

CTFC U15s  1 – 1 Feering
This was a very competitive game against an old adversary, past results against this opposition would suggest that amount of intensity would ultimately result in a narrow defeat. However on this occasion with a game plan and a new mentality throughout developing, they can count themselves unfortunate not to have won this one, the game was enjoyable to watch and everyone of them can be pleased with their effort, special mention to Olly who seems to be improving with every game. Goal scorer this week was Euan.

CTFC U16s 5 – 1 Halstead
This was the third top of the table clash this week, both sides unbeaten before today. We lost the toss and battled against the wind and a dipping sun in the first half to come in at half time 0-0. We set out slightly more offensive in the second half and promptly conceded a needless goal, but as is typical of this bunch they went straight down the other end and equalised. From then on it was pretty much one way traffic the result and the performance were both professional and hard earned. Two special mentions, firstly Jay who played an unfamiliar role superbly well and was integral to our game plan, the other Harry who came on at half time and scored a super hatrick which incidentally is his fifth hatrick in as many weeks.

Halstead 0 – 2 CTFC U18s
The under 18s once again got the job done, yet another clean sheet the two goals coming from Joe and Didi, they remain unbeaten keep it going lads.
