West Street Gets Cup Fever – Again!

Berkhamsted FC, from the Evo-Stik Southern League Central, visit the SeedGrowers for Coggeshall’s first ever game in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round. The ‘Comrades’ progressed through the previous round with a two-nil win over Thame United.

Similar to Coggeshall, Berkhamsted were promoted last season, progressing from the South Midlands Premier.

Following Tuesday night’s win against Witham Town, the SeedGrowers have landed themselves into greater unknown territory as their FA Cup debut continues. Manager, Graeme Smith is suffering a selection headache as several first team regulars are returning from injury; with Tom Monk nearing 100% fitness and Curtis Haynes-Brown appearing on last Tuesday’s substitutes bench.

Berkhamsted have had a mixed start to the season, having playing four league games; W1, D1 and L2, and now sit in 13th place in their league. You can follow Berkhamsted on Twitter by searching for their handle; @BerkoFC.
