Coggeshall picked up another 3 points at home against a much improved Fakenham team after a tremendous second-half performance. The home team fell behind early on which gave Fakenham something to hang on to during the opening stages of the match. After some continued pressure Coggeshall got back on level terms midway through the first half after Tom Monk scored with his head after a good ball into the box from Conor Hubble. There was no addition to the scoreline at half-time so the teams went in level 1-1.
Coggeshall came out of the blocks fast after the break and a quick-fire double from Ross Wall put “ The Town “ 3-1 up on 60 minutes leaving Fakenham a mountain to climb to get back in the game. Coggeshall started to dominate things as the half went on with the visitors offering little at the other end. Coggeshall added more goals after creating plenty of chances, Tom Monk scored his second and Ross Wall completed his hat-trick to give Coggeshall a 5-1 lead at the 80 minute mark. There was time for one more goal with Aaron Cosgrave getting on the scoresheet in the final minutes to make the scoreline very comprehensive.
