The SeedGrowers head to Romford on National Non League Day looking to improve on their current league form.

Coggeshall Town will certainly have a tough test against a Romford side who have had an impressive start to the league season. They currently sit fifth in the league table, having collected thirteen points from seven games – they have only lost two games, having won four and drawn the other one. Their last league outting was an impressive two-nil win over promotion favourites Aveley.

The SeedGrowers go in to the game on the back of three cup games, which has included two defeats against Witham Town and Weston-super-Mare. Coggeshall did however bounce back on Tuesday with a tw0-nil win over AFC Hornchurch of the Bostik Premier in the Velocity Trophy. Graeme Smith’s side have not actually played a league game since Tuesday 25 September and five of their last 6 games have all been in cup competitions. Having had a mixed start to their league campaign, the SeedGrowers will be desperate to collect their third league win of the season.

New signings, Sam Bantick and Syrus Gordon will both be available for selection.

As part of non league day, Romford will be completing a bucket collection for a local youngster who is suffering with Cerebal Palsy – the bucket collection will go a long way to assist with the youngster funding a specialist wheelchair from the NHS! Please give generously if you can.
