Coggeshall Town all but assured promotion to the Bostik Isthmian League after picking up another victory at Wroxham. Still mathematically needing one more point the fact that our goal difference is so superior to the teams around us means promotion is virtually guaranteed. It was another professional away team performance to pick up the 3 points with a goal from Curtis Haynes – Brown in the first half who scored with a decent shot from just inside the box following a corner to give “ The Town “ the lead. The second goal came midway through the second half after Jamie Shaw headed in from an Aaron Cosgrave cross to double the lead. The second goal really killed off any hope of a Wroxham comeback as they had offered little in the way of an attacking threat throughout the whole match.With this 2-0 victory the team are now in touching distance of a third consecutive promotion and still well placed for a shot at the title with 4 games remaining.
