Coggeshall Town are pleased to report that the new floodlighting system is in the final stages of installation. The masts have been in place for several weeks but the job stalled slightly as the club were waiting for the power supplier to run a brand new electricity feed to the club to power the new lights. This has now been done and remainder of the works is being completed this week in time for our match at West Street against Braintree Town Reserves on Friday night 7.45pm kickoff.

This will be a historic moment for the club as it is the first time in our 138 year history that Coggeshall Town will hold a floodlit match at its home ground. There has been lots of interest in this game from far and wide so the club is expecting a bumper crowd on Friday night. The team will be looking to get back on track after two defeats in a week which has dented there excellent start to life in the Eastern Counties league.It will be great to see as many people there as possible to cheer the team on in which is sure to be a memorable occasion.
